After a car wreck in 2009, Amberly was told she might never walk again. Now dancing professionally in showcase, she has proven the experts wrong. “Never say never!” she says.

​

Dancing since she was eight years old, her foundation in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, and Smooth Hip Hop led to American All-Star Dancer, UCA All-Star, and UDA All-Star credits. She has performed internationally with award winning dance teams and choreographed winning routines for dance teams, cheer squads, and baton troupes.

While she loves all forms of dancing, once she began partner dancing, she was addicted! Amberly has received dance training in American Smooth & Standard, West Coast Swing, Salsa, and Country. She has even dipped her toes in Argentine Tango, Lindy Hop and Charleston.

Amberly studied at MTSU and worked as a business development manager before pursuing her dance career full-time. In 2010, she was the event director for The Melody Salsa & West Coast Swing Dance Weekend held in Huntsville, AL in memory of her twin sister, Melody; also a passionate dancer.

Featured in a variety of instructional videos for dance events across the country, Amberly has danced and taught locally on the television show “Dancing Around Nashville.” She was recently cast in a honkey tonk dance scene for the popular series “Nashville.”

Amberly’s teaching style combines a sweet and fun-loving disposition, with strict attention to technique and partnership, which puts her students at ease and encourages them to excel.

In her ‘spare’ time, Amberly also deejays events in the southeast region.
